Straight and true

We welcome anybody who shares an interest in our sport to get involved. There are no barriers to archery that we cannot overcome.

The University of Huddersfield Archery Club (UHAC) is run by students, for students.

It doesn’t matter if you have never picked up a bow or if you are a young Robin Hood; all are welcome at Hudds Archery. We practice twice a week, every week through the academic year. We run a variety of shoots, including Portsmouth, WA18, fun shoots and balloon-popping!

We compete in the NEUAL and BUCS competitions and run in-club friendlies (e.g. Head-2-Head in January) and with other clubs (e.g. UHAC vs Valley match). If competitions aren’t for you, join us for our regular socials on Thursdays and Sundays, as well as some special joint club events throughout the year.

We are home to many coaches who are always on hand to help you improve. We run regular coaching sessions, and 1-2-1 coaching can be organised at request.

Follow us on social media to keep up to date with what we are doing and we look forward to meeting you!

The University of Huddersfield Archery Club welcomes all members of any ability, or disability! Our qualified coaches are trained help anyone participate in our sport, without boundaries. For more information, contact us.
